I just clicked publish on October´s book club - you can find the link in bio. This month I chose to read some books by contemporary writers. You can read the article on the blog, but in a nutshell here´s what I thought: The Monk of Mokha was a big surprise - I absolutely loved it, especially since it tells a true story. Making Nice is a book that it turns out I read twice and it really got on my nerves. Normal People gave me "overcomplicated" and "overhyped" vibes and Maya´s Notebook was nice, but inferior to Allende´s other writings. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Seriously thinking about buying a castle. Yesterday I visited the Quinta de Regaleira castle in Sintra, for what was probably the tenth time since I moved to Portugal. I loved it as much as on my first visit, so don´t ask me why I look so pissed here, it´s just the face of someone who wore the mask the whole day.
